Complete Game Notes vs. NCAA South Central Regional

NCAA TOURNAMENT
Colorado Mesa qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season. They enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed in the South Central Region and will face No. 5 seed Arkansas-Fort Smith. Midwestern State is the only other team in the region to qualify for the third straight season.

WINNINGEST PROGRAM
The Mavericks are tied for the most wins in NCAA Div. II with 84 in the last three seasons. Limestone (S.C.) also has 84 wins in that time frame. South Central Region foe West Texas has 79.

MINI RMAC TOURNAMENT
All four teams that competed in the RMAC Shootout Final Four. UCCS enters the regional as the No. 2 seed and will play No. 7 seed CSU-Pueblo. Colorado Christian is the No. 6 seed. 

BOARDING
Senior Leanndra Gilbert entered the single-season top ten for rebounding after her 10 rebounds against CSU-Pueblo. Gilbert has 205 rebounds this season passing former teammate Katrina Selsor and  Susan Luecke's total in 1997.

SUMMIT AWARD
Junior Laurel Kasel was named the winner of the Summit Award. She has the highest GPA of any student athlete in the Final Four.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Colorado Mesa has had 12 double-doubles this season, led by Leanndra Gilbert's five. Everyone who has recorded one, has at least two.
