Ryan Stephan and
Kabir West each tallied a double-double for Colorado Mesa University in a 91-76 win over Dallas Baptist Saturday (Nov. 15).
Ryan Stephan tallied a game-high 34 points, including shooting 16-of-21 from the free throw line. He also grabbed 11 rebounds.
Kabir West recorded his first career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
CJ Davis scored 13 points, and
Eimer Lopez added 12 points for CMU.
Mesa shot 42-percent (13-31) from the field and held Dallas Baptist to 35-percent (10-29) in the first half, but the teams would be tied at 33 at halftime.
The Mavs outscored the Patriots 58-43 in the second thanks to shooting 29-of-40 (73-percent) from the line. DBU would shoot 8-of-10 (80-percent) from the line in the second.
Derek Biale accounted for 10 of CMU's 13 assists.
Mesa finished with a 50-36 lead in rebounds.
Joey Miller led DBU with 20 points.
