Kiely Returns
Joe Kiely returned to the starting line-up for the first time in eight games Friday against Colorado Christian. The Columbia, Md., native missed six games before appearing in two games off the bench. Kiely made his presence known recording a career-high seven assists. He followed up with a career-high 15 points against Colorado Mines.
Scoring Battle
The top-two scoring players in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Saturday. Derrick White of UCCS leads the league with 24.7 points per game and
Ryan Stephan is second at 24.5. Stephen continues to lead the RMAC in points per game (24.7), total field goals made (107) and field-goal percentage (61.5). The Lakewood, Colo., native ranks second in the RMAC and fifth in the nation in total points (296). Stephan ranks second in the league in total rebounds with 97.
League Leader
Jerry Duckworth continues to lead the RMAC in 3-point shooting. The Federal Way, Wash., native leads the league and ranks 14th in the nation in 3-point attempts (94). He is second in the league and 14th in total 3-pointers made (40) and fifth in the league in 3-point percentage (42.6). Duckworth is averaging 12.4 points per game, second most on the team.
