Junior Ryan Stephen scored his 1,000 career point with a 3-pointer last week against Western State. The Lakewood, Colo., native ranks 15th in career scoring with 1,008 points (Complete list on page two). He currently ranks second in the nation in points per game (25.7), sixth in total points (385.0) and sixth in total field goals (136). Stephan ranks 21st nationally in defensive rebounds (6.73) and 23rd in free throws made (91).

Landon Vermeer tallied career-highs in points (15) and rebounds (4) last weekend against Western State. The Littleton, Colo., is currently tied for eighth in school history in career 3-pointers with 114 (Complete list on page four).

Friday's game against No. 14 MSU Denver will be the fourth game this season that Colorado Mesa has faced a ranked opponent. CMU is 2-1 this season against ranked opponents.
