DENVER, Colorado – The Colorado Mesa University women's soccer team closed out the weekend with a 2-0 loss to Metro State University of Denver at Regency Athletic Complex. The Mavericks fall to 0-4-2 on the season and 0-1-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
MSU Denver tallied a goal in the 14
th minute on a boot from Noemy Polanco then added an insurance goal in the 82
nd minute from Roadrunner Karissa Price.
Kendra Penchoff led Colorado Mesa with five shots, one of those came on goal.

Sarah Schnetzler made five saves in the match and faced a total of 19 Roadrunner shots.
Colorado Mesa will be back in action next Friday when they take on the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves in Pueblo, Colorado.
