Box Score DALLAS, Texas – The Colorado Mesa women's soccer team fell to the Dallas Baptist Patriots 2-0 on Thursday night in the first match ever at Sedwick Family Fieldhouse.
Colorado Mesa and Dallas Baptist played to a scoreless tie until the 75
th minute of the match.
Dallas Baptist scored their first goal on a ball in the box that found the back of the net on the left side. Patriot Emilie McDonald was credited with the goal that proved to be the game-winner.
The Patriots picked up some insurance in the final minute of the match on an Ashley Cox goal.
Kendra Penchoff led the Mavericks with three shots with two coming on goal.
Darion Wiegert and Haley Glassey also had shots on goal for Colorado Mesa.
Colorado Mesa will finish off the weekend with a match against Angelo State on Saturday in Dallas.
