RMAC STANDINGS
Colorado Mesa currently has a 3.5 game lead on Plains Division winner New Mexico Highlands for the overall RMAC lead. Colorado Mines will enter the tournament as the #4 seed while CSU-Pueblo will enter as the #3 seed.

STILL #1
Colorado Mesa is ranked #1 in the NCAA South Central Region poll for the second consecutive week. West Texas A&M is #2 followed by Texas A&M Kingsville, New Mexico Highlands, St. Edward's and St. Mary's to round out the top six. Tarleton State and Angelo State are seventh and eighth. The top six teams in the poll advance to the NCAA Tournament after the final poll is released on May 11th.

J-MO
Senior designated hitter Jordan Liester did something that hadnt been done since the 2010 season. Liester scored five runs in a game for the first time since Greg Anderson recorded the feat against Colorado Christian. Liester earned RMAC Player fo the Week honors this past week as well.

BOMBS AWAY
The Mavericks hit 12 home runs on the weekend against Regis. Freshmen Jake Druce, Trevor Elcock and Kyle Serrano each hit their first collegiate home run in the barrage. Jordan Liester and Elcock each hit multiple home runs in the series.

LEADING THE WAY
Colorado Mesa currently leads NCAA Division II in batting with a .362 average. They are currently four points better than second place Central Oklahoma. The Mavericks are currently second in slugging and fifth in on-base percentage. 

HIT PARADE
Senior outfielder Austin Kaiser currently leads NCAA Division II in batting average and is second nationally in hits with 86. Kaiser trails Mount Olive's Jay Gonzalez by just two hits with Mount Olive idle until the NCAA Tournament.

ON DECK
The Mavericks will play in the RMAC Tournament on Thursday through Saturday as the #1 or #2 seed. With a win in the final series, Colorado Mesa will win the RMAC regular season championship and host the tournament at Suplizio Field.
