Box Score ALAMOSA, COLO. – The second ranked Colorado Mesa women's basketball team moved to 25-0 on the season after a 69-48 win over the Adams State Grizzlies on Friday night in Plachy Hall. The Mavericks will look to cap a perfect regular season on Friday night against Fort Lewis which would be a first in program history.
The Mavericks limited the Grizzly offense to just 48 points on 19-of -56 shooting (34 percent) from the field. They outrebounded them 30-28 but Adams State outscored the Mavericks 9-0 on second chance points.
Sharaya Selsor finished the game with 30 points and tied a career-high with seven made three-point baskets. She also set the single season scoring mark eclipsing
Kelsey Sigl's 610 points scored last season with 626 points.
Aubry Boehme chipped in 17 points and
Taylor Rock was just shy of a double-double finishing with nine points and ten rebounds.
Adams State was led by Mariah Gonzales' 12 points and five rebounds.
Colorado Mesa was ranked #1 in the latest NCAA South Central Region rankings. The top seeded team in the South Central Region earns the right to host the NCAA Regional. Colorado Mesa hosted the tournament just last season, defeating Midwestern State in the championship game.
The Mavericks will travel to Durango tomorrow to take on Fort Lewis at 5:30pm in Whalen Gymnasium.
