**RMAC TOURNAMENT #1 SEED**
RANKINGS
The Mavericks are ranked #2 in the recent WBCA National Poll and received two first place votes. This is the fifth straight week CMU is ranked #2 and it is the highest ranking in the program's history.
REGIONAL RANKINGS
The first official NCAA Regional Rankings were released last Wednesday. Colorado Mesa was second behind West Texas A&M. RMAC foe CSU-Pueblo was third followed by Tarleton State, Texas A&M-International, Texas Woman's, Midwestern State and Fort Lewis.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Colorado Mesa has won 35 consecutive home games dating back to January 28, 2012. Over 1,700 fans showed up at the game against Western State. The Mavericks have had four striaght home games now of over 1,000 fans.
RECORD BREAKER
On
Sharaya Selsor's 15th point this weekend she will set a new single-season scoring record. She will break
Kelsey Sigl's mark of 610 set just last season. Selsor is averaging 24.8 points per game this season and also sits in the top ten all-time in assists and scoring.
SCOUTING THE GRIZZLIES
Colorado Mesa defeated Adams State 75-55 back on December 21 in Brownson Arena.
Sharaya Selsor had 32 points in the win. The Grzzlies are led by Mariah Gonzales this season.She averages 11 points, six rebounds and three assists per game.
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS
The Mavericks defeated the Skyhawks back on December 20, 89-65. Five Mavericks finished in double-figures that night. Fort Lewis is led by Erike Richards who averages 15.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
Colorado Mesa will host the opening round of the RMAC Tournament on Tuesday March 4 against an opponent yet to be determined. If there is a doubleheader, the women will play at 5:30pm if it is just a single-game they will play at 7:00pm
