CMU Wins Nine Events at WSCU

GUNNISON, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's swimming and diving teams won 9 of 13 events to defeat Western State 131-112 Saturday (Nov. 22).

Amanda Jennings and Taylor Bowns claimed the top two spots in both 1 and 3-meter diving. Jennings took the win on both boards with a score of 180.55 on the 1-meter and 237.75 on the 3-meter. Bowns scored 215.95 on the 1-meter and 153.65 on the 3-meter.

Miranda Reetz won both the 100 fly (1:01.94) and the 100 breaststroke (1:06.99).

Eryn Leonard showed her versatility winning both the 50 free (25.67) and the 500 free (5:31.23).

Katelin Staab won the 1,000 free in 11:21.56, and Olivia Bobillier finished the 100 back in 1:04.28 for the win.

The 400 free relay of Eryn Leonard, Sam Parker, Olivia Hudson and Hannah Mabile won in a time of 3:48.10.

The 200 medley relay of Olivia Hudson, Miranda Reetz, Hannah Mabile and Olivia Bobillier was second in 1:54.00.

CMU will host the CMU Invite Dec. 4-6.
