All-RMAC Preseason selection
Ryan Stephan scored a career-high 35 points against Dallas Baptist in the season opener. The Lakewood, Colo., native shot 13-of-18 from the field, including 3-4 from deep and 6-of-7 from the line. His previous high was 27 points against Colorado Christian last season. Stephan's 35 points is the most by a CMU since Colton Burgon scored 30 points against Western New Mexico on Feb. 16, 2013. Stephan ranks second in the RMAC in scoring averaging 29.5 points per game.
Another Career Day
Jerry Duckworth also enjoyed a career day in Mesa's win over Dallas Baptist. The Federal Way, Wash., native scored a career-high 20 points, shooting 7-of-12 from the field, including four 3-pointers. His previous high was 15 points came last season against Montana Western.
Third Career Day
Joe Kiely grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against St. Ed's last weekend. He also blocked a career-high two blocks against Dallas Baptist.
Shootout
Colorado Mesa opened the season with a 92-89 win over Dallas Baptist. The Mavericks 92 points were the most the team scored since Feb. 14, 2014 when they scored 97 against New Mexico Highlands.

Colorado Mesa leads the RMAC in 3-pointers per game with 10.0.
Grabbing Rebounds
The Mavericks lead the RMAC in defensive rebounds at 28.5 per game.
Sharp Shooting
Colorado Mesa shot 60-percent (33-55) from the field in the win over Dallas Baptist. The last time CMU shot over 60-percent was Feb. 1, 2014 when the Mavericks shot 61-percent against Colorado Christian.
