WEEKEND RECAP
Colorado Mesa dropped a pair of matches last weekend at home to 5th ranked Colorado Mines and 17th ranked MSU Denver.

Against Colorado Mines, the Mavericks had a pair of good opportunities to score but couldnt convert. Sarah Pope had three shots with all of them coming on goal.

The Mavericks took a 1-0 lead on the Roadrunners after Amanda Wenzel scored her second goal of the season. CMU was poised to pull off the upset but a pair of MSU Denver goals in the final seven minutes of the match doomed them.

HISTORY WITH GRIZZLIES

Then in Sunday's match, a pair of MSU Denver goals in the final seven minutes spoiled the Mavericks upset bid.
