Colorado Mesa will host CSU-Pueblo and UC-Colorado Springs in a rare Thursday and Friday series. The change is due to the Tracy Borah Wrestling Duals hosted at Western State. 
We Want Orr
Junior Jon Orr recorded his first career double-double with a 21 point and 10 rebound performance at Colorado Mesa. The Thatcher, Arizona, native shot 7-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range. His previous season-high of 13 points came against California Baptist on Nov. 9.  
Big Men Outside
Colorado Mesa drained nine 3-pointers at Colorado Mines. Big men Ryan Stephen and Jon Orr each finished with four a piece for the Mavericks. 
Sharp Shooting
Sophomore Ryan Stephan leads the league and ranks 25th in the nation in field goal percentage at .623. The Lakewood, Colo., native leads the Mavericks with 16.9 points per game. 
Free Throws
CMU shot a season-high .838 (31-37) from the free throw line at Colorado Mines. 
Halftime Lead
CMU couldn't pull off the win at Mines, despite leading the Orediggers 40-38 at the break. The loss was the first this season for CMU when leading at the break. 
Home Court Advantage
The Mavericks are 5-1 at home this season. 
Crowd Support
Colorado Mesa ranks second in the RMAC in attendance at an average of 668 fans per game. Fort Lewis leads the league at 868. 
Last Time Out
Colorado Mesa enjoyed a two point halftime lead at Colorado Mines but were outscored 56-46 in the second as the Orediggers came away with a 94-86 home win. 
Looking Ahead
Colorado Mesa will play a single game next week at Western State Saturday (Jan. 18).
