Colorado Mesa (24-1, 20-1 RMAC) defeated Adams State University (9-16, 6-15 RMAC) 56-38 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action on Friday night.
	CMU led from start to finish and entered halftime with a 27-19 lead. The Grizzlies slow-down strategy saw the two teams tied at 7-7 at the 12:10 mark. CMU went on a 15-2 run, extending the lead to 23-9 with 4:43 remaining in the half. ASU closed out the half on a 10-4 spurt, including four 3-pointers to close the gap to eight points.
	ASU opened the second half cutting the deficit to six (27-21) and that would be as close as the Grizzlies would come as the Mavericks quickly pushed the lead to double digits.  
	Kelsey Sigl led all players with 16 points. Katrina Selsor had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the game. Sharaya Selsor had six points and four assists.
	CMU shot 42 percent (18-43) from the floor. The Grizzlies shot 37 percent (15-41) from the field and went to the foul line just twice, connecting on 1 of 2 free throws. CMU was 17 of 20 from the foul line and out rebounded ASU 29-24.
	The Mavericks will close out the regular season on Saturday night, senior night, versus Fort Lewis College at 5:30 p.m.
