Mavericks, Rangers Fit To Be Tied

DENVER, Colo. – Colorado Mesa and Regis scored all of their goals in the second half in a 2-2 tie in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match at Regis Match Pitch.
 
The Mavericks could not hold onto two separate leads in the match. Each time Colorado Mesa would score, Regis answered right back.
 
Oliver Querin scored both goals for Colorado Mesa this afternoon. His first goal was scored at the 57:16 mark of the match. Querin took a rebounded shot and scored in the right side of the goal for his first goal of the season.
 
Querin's second goal came in the 63rd minute of the match. Querin scored on a one-timer off a free kick from Marco Escobar.
 
Regis answered back a little over a minute later of the first goal. Ranger Jacob Martinez took a cross and scored over goalkeeper Micah Conrads.
 
The Rangers second goal came just a shade over seven minutes after Querin's second goal for Colorado Mesa. Thor Kristinsson beat one of the Mavericks defenders and scored on the right side of the goal.
 
Colorado Mesa goes to 5-4-2 on the year and 3-2-2 in the RMAC while the Rangers go to 6-1-1 on the year and 5-1-1 in the RMAC.
 
The Mavericks will conclude their four match road trip on Sunday when they take on the UC-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions in Colorado Springs. The two teams tied 1-1 back on September 23 in Grand Junction.
