Colorado Mesa (10-3, 7-2 RMAC) defeated CSU-Pueblo (4-10-4, 3-5 RMAC) 78-61 Friday night at Massari Arena in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. CMU dominated from start to finish, trailing only once in the contest; 10-9 early in the first half.
	Five Mavericks registered double digits with Colton Burgon leading all players with 22 points, hitting 11 0f 15 from the field. Burgon had six rebounds on the night.
	Paul Walter had 13 points and Jeff Hart 12 points. Clay Kame and Landon Vermeer had 11 points each off the bench. Kame had a game high six assists. Mike Melillo finished the game with 11 rebounds, six points and four assists.
	CMU led 37-22 at half closing out the first 20-minutes with a 20-2 run to extend the lead to double digits. The Mavericks held their double-digit lead the entire second half holding their largest lead of 22 points at the 14:48 mark.
	The Mavericks shot 56 percent (32-57) from the floor, finishing with 27 assists and 40 rebounds. CMU's 32 made field goals ties a season high and 27 assists is a season best.
	CSU-Pueblo was led by Nathan Tigner's 14 points. The ThunderWolves shot 30.8 percent (20-65) from the field.
	CMU will travel to UC-Colorado Springs on Saturday for a matchup with the Mountain Lions. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
