Colorado Mesa University women's volleyball (8-2, 2-0) team extended their win streak to five with a 3-0 sweep over CSU-Pueblo (25-23, 25-21, 25-22) on Saturday night at Brownson Arena.
CMU's Kelly Regimbal led all players with 8 kills and Haleigh Higgins and Abby Ney finished with 7 kills each. Megan Rush had 20 digs on the night and recorded two of the Mavs' six service aces. Jordyn Moody and Krista Ubersox combined for 32 assists.
CSU-Pueblo (8-3, 0-2) recorded 11 team blocks to the Mavs' two team blocks. The ThunderWolves were led by Skylar Conner's six kills and nine digs.
CMU hit .057 in the match finishing with 39 kills, 32 errors on 122 attempts. CSU-Pueblo hit .091 with 31 kills, 21 errors on 110 attempts.
CMU will travel to Fort Lewis College on Tuesday night for their first road RMAC match against the Skyhawks. The Mavericks return home on Saturday night to host Western New Mexico, 7 PM in Brownson Arena.
