                The Colorado Mesa University baseball team fell victim to the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys 7-5 in an elimination game at the 2012 RMAC Tournament in Pueblo, Colo. New Mexico Highlands produced a 5-run eighth inning to build a 7-2 lead. CMU mounted a comeback scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth but came up just short.

                The combination of Garrett Carpenter and Dylan Evans pitched well enough to win. Combined they allowed 7 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits, walked 4 and struck out 8 in 7.1 innings. Evans took the tough loss and drops to 4-3 on the season.

                Colton Little, Jeff Popick, and Colton Schoelkopf all had two hits for Colorado Mesa.

                Regis and CSU-Pueblo will hook up and battle for the RMAC Tournament Title and the automatic bid into next weekend's NCAA Central Region Tournament.
