Last Week for the Mountaineers: Western State fell victim to the Colorado Mines Orediggers 45-6 at the Mountaineer Bowl in Gunnison. Western State mounted 231 yards of offense but only had a pair of field goals to show for it. The Orediggers stuck with the aerial attack and threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns

RMAC Standings: The Mavericks are in a tie for sixth place in the RMAC with Western New Mexico while the Mountaineers are currently in eighth place.

#1 ranked CSU-Pueblo still has a tight grip on first place but will play against third place New Mexico Highlands this weekend in Pueblo.
