Final Results
Colorado Mesa women's swimming & diving team defeated Western State Colorado University 135-90 setting four pool records at the WSCU Natatorium in Gunnison.
CMU won nine of the 13 events over the Mountaineers including dual victories by diver Amanda Jennings in the 1-meter competition. Jennings set a pool diving record in the 1-meter with 11 dives for a record-breaking 380.18 points. Jennings also set the pool record for six dives at 1-meter tallying a score of 215.38.
Kelly Hogan set a pool record on her way to the 200 free title. Hogan finished in a time of 2:01.35.
Briana Purkapile's pool record came in the 200 IM, recording a time of 2:19.10.
Sydney Miller clinched the first victory for the Mavericks winning the 1000 free in a time of 11:18.42. Maddy Wigg won the 500 free in 5:40.72.
Amy Brodie won the 50 free in a time of 25.75 and Stefanie Mraule followed up with a victory in the 100 free in a time of 58.01.
Luisa Radaic won the 100 fly in 1:04.30 and teammate Katie Olson finished second in 1:07.64.
CMU will travel to Adams State University on Saturday for a dual meet with the Grizzlies in Alamosa beginning at 1 p.m.
