Last Week for the Mustangs: The Mustangs piled up 595 yards of offense in a 54-28 win over Colorado Mines in Golden. Western New Mexico threw for over 400 yards and held the Orediggers to minus 19 yards rushing.

The Mustang defense forced three Orediggers turnovers and had six quarterback sacks.

RMAC Standings: With the loss last week to New Mexico Highlands, the Mavericks fall into a four-way tie for 5th place in the RMAC. CMU is tied with Adams State, Black Hills, and Colorado Mines at 1-2.

Western New Mexico is in sole possession of 4th place with a 2-1 mark.

#2 CSU-Pueblo, Chadron State and New Mexico Highlands are all tied at 3-0 atop the RMAC.
