            The Colorado Mesa University Women's Soccer team played their final regular season home match on Sunday at Walker Field against the Regis Rangers. A goal by the Rangers in the 87th minute sealed the fate of the Mavericks as they fell 1-0. The Mavericks fall to 9-4-3 on the season and 6-4-2 in the RMAC while the Rangers improve to 11-4-1 on the season and 9-2-1 in RMAC matches.

            Regis' goal came off a corner kick that found its way around everyone and into the goal. Meghan Stuart was credited with the goal and it was her sixth of the season.

            The Mavericks had three shots on goal and all were good looks but none of them found the back of the net.

            Colorado Mesa will be on the road next weekend at Colorado Mines and CSU-Pueblo for the final regular season matches of the season.
