The Mavericks will play three matches with East Division opponents this weekend. On Thursday, they will play the Regis Rangers in Denver. Then on Friday they will travel down I-25 to Colorado Springs for a match with UCCS before heading back to Denver for a matchup with Metro State. Here is a quick look at all the matches.

Last Week for the Rangers: Regis swept a trio of matches on the road last weekend. On Thursday, the hung on to defeat Adams State in five sets before picking up two straight set wins over CSU-Pueblo and Western State.
RMAC Standings: Regis is currently in second place in the highly competitive East Division. They are currently third overall behind both of the Division Leaders.
Ranger to Watch:
Katie Klein (Fr., Seal Beach, Calif.) is currently third in the RMAC in kills this season with 264. On the season, she has had three double-double's and has had two 20 kill matches including a match against Hillsdale (Mich.) where she recorded 21 kills and 20 digs.
University of Colorado - Colorado Springs Mountain Lions (13-6, 8-3 RMAC)

Last Week for the Mountain Lions: UCCS went 2-1 on the road last weekend. On Thursday, they defeated Western State 3-1 before heading down to Alamosa and dropping a 3-1 decision to Adams State. They rebounded on Saturday, picking up a win against CSU-Pueblo 3-1.
RMAC Standings: The Mountain Lions are currently in third place in the East Division behind both Regis and Colorado Mines. Overall, they are in a tie for fourth place with the Mavericks.
Mountain Lion to Watch:
Nikki Kinzer (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) may be one of the most dominant middle's in all of Division II volleyball. She leads the RMAC in blocks with 113. She has recorded 10 or more blocks three times this season including a 10 block, 11 kill match with Metro State.

Last Week for the Roadrunners: Metro State went 2-1 also on last weekend's road swing through the mountains. They defeated CSU-Pueblo and Western State 3-1 before falling to Adams State in five sets 3-2.
RMAC Standings: The Roadrunners are sitting in a tie for fourth place in the East Division with Colorado Christian. In the Overall standings, they are in a three-way tie for sixth place with Colorado Christian and Western New Mexico.
Roadrunner to Watch:
Vanessa Gemignani (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) is the setter for the Roadrunners this season. She is currently sixth in the RMAC in assists (699) and fifth in assists/set (10.13). She had a season high 53 assists in a 3-1 win over CSU-Pueblo last weekend.
