Greg Anderson's double with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Mavericks an 8-7 win and a spot in the RMAC Tournament Championship game. The Mavericks are now 32-19 on the season and are in the RMAC Final for the second consecutive season.
Anderson finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs and his walk off double gave him twelve on the season. With his performance today, Greg is now hitting .412 for the season.
Taylor Hamilton picked up the win in relief. Hamilton, now 4-1, pitched 2.1 innings and allowed one run on three hits, walked no one and struck out three. Starter Dylan Evans got the start and went 5.1 innings and allowed three runs on nine hits, walked three and struck out one.
Colton Little belted his second homerun of the season in the sixth inning, a two-run shot that gave the Mavericks a 7-3 lead at the time.
The Mavericks will take on the RMAC Regular Season Champion Nebraska Kearney Lopers at 12:00pm at Suplizio FIeld. The Mavericks are 4-1 against the Lopers this season but tomorrow's game might be the biggest.
