Last Week: UC-San Diego took three-of-four games from the Western Oregon Wolves. The Tritons won by scores of 4-1, 10-2, and 6-1 but fell in game four 5-7. Outfielder Aaron Bauman led the UCSD attack, batting .462 in the opening series for both schools.

This will be the opening series of the season for Mesa State. The Mavericks will look to make a return trip to the NCAA Tournament this season as they have qualified seven of the past nine seasons.

All-Time Series: Mesa State leads the All-Time series 1-0. The win came in the 2007 NCAA West Region Tournament in Los Angeles, Calif. Mesa State won 5-4.
