Mesa State (16-9, 13-8) fell to visiting Adams State College (19-8, 14-7) Friday night 73-57 in RMAC action.

Adams State's led 39-27 at half and opened the second half with a 17-5 run to push the lead to 24 points at the 14:34 mark. MSC chipped away at the deficit and pulled to within 10 points with 5:55 left in the game. ASC extended the lead back to 16 closing out the game with an 8-2 run. The Grizzlies led from start to finish.

Kelsey Sigl tied for a game high with 19 points and Sharaya Selsor registered 14. Katrina Selsor and Hanna Bowden each had six rebounds.

ASC had four players in double digits led by Vera Jo Buston and Kendra Coveal's 19 points.

MSC was out-rebounded 37-23 and shot 38 percent (21-54) from the floor.

The Grizzlies shot 56 percent (29-52) from the field, including 9 of 17 from beyond the arc.

Mesa State will close out regular season action Saturday night against Fort Lewis College. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.
