Bill and Peggy Foster Duals - 1/15/2011
Mesa State men's swim team defeated University of Colorado 204-79 and RMAC foe Colorado Mines 150-144 at the Bill & Peggy Foster Duals at the El Pomar Natatorium on the campus of Mesa State College.
MSC won seven individual titles led by Kent Stavrakas three titles and diver Brock Martin's sweep in the 1 and 3 meter events.
Stavrakas won the 50 free in 22.01 and the 100 free in 47.94. He placed first in the 100 fly in 52.73. Teammate Justin White was runner-up to Stavrakas in the 50 and 100 free.
Brock Martin won the 1 and 3 meter events posting final scores of 288.65 and 302.30 respectively.
Jakob Matthiessen won the 200 free in a time of 1:51.17.
Alejandro Hernandez won the 200 fly in 1:59.48.
The Mesa men and women combined to defeat University of Colorado 406.00-122.00 and Colorado School of Mines 320.00-262.00.
