As a Freshman (2010-2011): Preseason All-RMAC selection…All-RMAC 3rd Team in the 400 IM, 800 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay…Placed 4th in the 200 Fly and 5th in the 200 IM at the RMAC Championships.

Personal: Majoring in Marketing…Son of Miguel Hernandez and Marianela Tirado…Brother of Miguel and Juan…Chose CMU for the facilities and atmosphere…Aspires to qualify for the London Olympic Games as part of the Venezuelan National Team…Enjoys snowboarding, biking, and camping.
