Mesa State volleyball dropped its third consecutive match and fell to 5-6 overall and 0-3 in league falling 3-2 (20-25, 25-16, 13-25, 25-15, 12-15) at Colorado Christian Saturday evening.
Colorado Christian improved to 8-4, 3-0 (RMAC) behind Andi Weber's 22 kills and six blocks.
MSC's Rebecca Sellers finished with a team high 11 kills and Meagan Bosch added 10. Megan Rush recorded 11 digs and a game high four service aces.
The Mavericks are 1-2 in five set matches; all three ending in a final set score of 15-12. MSC is 1-2 versus top 25 teams, beating #7-ranked Nebraska-Kearney 3-2 in Kearney last weekend.
MSC will continue league play this weekend at CSU-Pueblo (9/24) and at Western State (9/25). The Mavs home opener is October 1 against Western New Mexico, 7 p.m. at Brownson Arena.
