The Mesa State Mavericks and the Nebraska Kearney Lopers split their inter-divisional RMAC series this past weekend. The Mavericks won games two and three by scores of 6-3 and 5-4 while the Lopers won one and four by scores of 24-18 and 9-8.

          This weekend the Mavericks were led by Marty Rover offensively, who batted .600 on the weekend. Jack Amidei led the Mavericks on the mound, pitching 3.0 innings and picking up two saves.

          The Mavericks will travel to Golden this weekend to take on the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers.

          The Mavericks will return home on Friday April 23rd for a battle with RMAC leader New Mexico Highlands. That game will also be Little League Family night where proceeds from the game will go toward area youth little leagues.
