Mesa State women's swim team defeated host Colorado School of Mines 137-97 and combined with the men's team beat the Orediggers 279.50-196.50, Friday afternoon in Golden. MSC fell to Air Force by a score of 178-53.

Gina Panacci won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:27.99. Panacci placed fourth in the 200 freestyle (2:20.69).

Briana Purkapile won the 200 freestyle in 1:58.16. She finished second in the 100 freestyle (54.64).

 Deanna Pickmann finished second in the 1000 freestyle (11:26.69) and was a member of the third place, 400 medley relay time with teammates; Jaclyn McMillen, Katie Thompson and Sarah Hagerstrom. McMillen was second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:12.88.

Tora Anderson placed third in the 50 freestyle in a time of 25.31.

MSC will compete November 19-20 at the Trinity Western Invitational in Southlake, TX.
