Host and No. 7-ranked UC-San Diego improved to 7-0 in a 3-1 (10-25, 20-25, 25-15, 17-25) win over the Mavericks. UCSD recorded 51 kills, hit .304 and tallied 11 service aces in the 4-set victory.

MSC took game three from the Titans, hitting .346 in the set (12 kills, 3 errors). Tessa Andrews posted 10 kills in the loss.

The Mavericks will try and snap a six match losing streak against the only non-ranked opponent they have faced at the UC-San Diego Triton Invitational in a match with Cal State Dominguez Hills.
