Second-ranked Cal State San Bernardino (4-0) defeated Mesa State 3-1 (17-25, 10-25, 25-21, 24-26) Friday afternoon at the UC-San Diego Triton Invitational.

Tessa Andrews recorded 14 kills and the Mavs posted nine service aces against the national ranked foe.

Meredith Dolny, Whitney Howard and Alisan Tompkins combined for 37 of the Mavericks 56 digs. CSU-San Bernardino hit .271 in the match, posting 54 kills, 9.0 team blocks and five service aces.

Next up for the Mavericks, another nationally ranked team, #21-Cal State Los Angeles Friday evening.
