The win over the Cowgirls opened Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action and improved their overall record to 3-7.
MSC recorded 40 kills in the match; 46 digs, 8.0 blocks and five service aces. Junior Tara King finished with 31 assists, 5 kills and 5 digs. Antoinette McCormick tallied a game high 3 aces and four blocks (2 solo).
New Mexico Highlands Dominique Benton recorded 7.0 solo blocks in the 3-set match.
MSC will look to extend their win streak to three Saturday night at Western New Mexico in Silver City.
