Fort Lewis College (10-17, 8-11) defeated MSC 3-0 (22-25, 24-26, 16-25) in RMAC west division volleyball action Friday night in Durango. The loss dropped the Mavs to 17-10 overall and 15-3 in league play. The loss is the first for the Mavericks in west division and first 3-set loss to an RMAC team.

MSC's Tessa Andrews had a game high 11 kills and just two errors in 29 attempts (.310) for 12 of the Mavs 42 points. MSC had 32 hitting errors and hit .034 in the match. Fort Lewis recorded 33 kills, 13 errors on 90 attempts for a .222 hitting percentage. The Skyhawks totaled 7 blocks and 3 service aces. MSC finished with 2 blocks and 4 service aces.

MSC will close out the regular season Saturday at Western State. MSC has clinched the west division title and will enter next week's RMAC tournament as the #2 seed.
