Rangers End Mavericks Season

            Mesa State's soccer season came to an end yesterday in the first round of the RMAC tournament. The Mavericks fell victim to the Regis Rangers by a score of 1-0. The Rangers will move on to face top seeded Metro State on Friday at Auraria Field.

            Ranger Chelsea Bokan scored the match's lone goal in the 67th minute. It was Bokan's 7th goal of the season. Bokan scored on a header from a Heidi Boersma free kick. 

            Mesa State finishes the year 10-10-1.

            Also on Wednesday, the RMAC All-Conference teams were released. Three Mavericks were named to one of the three teams. Jr. Daniela Ramirez (Rupert, ID) was named to the 1st Team while Sr. Kira Brannan (Broomfield, CO) and Fr. Jessica Kent (Modesto, CA) were named to the 2nd Team.
