MSC (17-9, 15-2) volleyball extended their win streak to five with a 25-23, 25-23, 25-16 win over Western New Mexico Tuesday night at Brownson Arena.
MSC's Antoinette McCormick and Gabrielle Lovato each recorded double digit kills in the team's last home game of the season. McCormick finished with 14 kills and Lovato tallied 10 kills and 2 block assists.
Tara King finished with a game high 39 assists, 7 digs, 2 kills and 1 block solo.
Meagan Bosch and Lindsey Jefferson combined for 5 kills and 7 block assists.
Megan Rush and Whitney Howard had 13 and 12 digs respectively.
Western New Mexico's Marilee Frost led all players with 17 kills.
The Mavericks clinched the RMAC west division title two weeks ago and close out the regular season this weekend at Fort Lewis and Western State. The RMAC post season tournament begins Thursday, November 12 in Kearney, NE. The Lopers enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed. MSC is the No. 2 seed.
