Junior Meagan Bosch hit .471 recording her second highest kill total this season with 8 kills on 17 attempts (zero errors) in the Mavericks 3-set sweep over visiting New Mexico Highlands. Bosch and senior Gabrielle Lovato each recorded a team high 8 kills in the 25-19, 25-13, 25-20 win over the Cowgirls.

Senior night at Brownson Arena honored the careers of Tessa Andrews, Meredith Dolny, Lovato and Alisan Tompkins. The four seniors were recognized prior to the start of the match.

The Cowgirls (1-25, 0-17) hit .064 and tallied 2 team blocks. NMHU was led by Vanessa Leal who finished with a game high 9 kills.

MSC hit .287 in the match including 6 service aces and 8 team blocks. Tara King finished with 31 assists, 7 digs and 4 block assists.

MSC will host their final home match of the 2009 season against Western New Mexico on Tuesday night at Brownson Arena, 7 p.m.
