Alisan Tompkins posted her fifth double-double of the season recording 19 kills and 13 digs in the Mavericks three-set sweep over visiting UC-Colorado Springs (25-15, 25-16, 28-26). The win improved their record to 9-8 overall , 7-1 RMAC and a one game lead over Western New Mexico in the west division. 

Gabrielle Lovato had 10 kills, three digs and two assists. It is the fifth time this season she has recorded double digit kills, including back-to-back double digits this weekend. 

Tara King, the Mavs versatile setter, finished with 43 assists, six digs, three blocks, 2 kills and one ace in the victory. 

Next up for the Mavericks is a three-match road swing this upcoming Thursday, Friday and Saturday versus east division foes, Regis University, Colorado Christian and Metro State.
