Mesa State volleyball improved to 13-9 overall and 11-2 in league action defeating visiting Chadron State College 25-12, 25-22, 25-12 Saturday evening at Brownson Arena.
MSC hit .411 in the 3-set match recording 48 kills, nine errors in 95 attempts. The .411 attack percentage is a season high match record.
Tessa Andrews finished with a game high 12 kills. Antoinette McCormick recorded 11 kills, 5 block assists and 2 digs. McCormick hit .714 in the match. Setter Tara King had 36 assists, 6 digs and 2 block assists.
Chadron's Lauren Emory led the way for the Eagles with 10 kills. Sarah Mortensen had a game high 11 digs.
MSC will host CSU-Pueblo this Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Mavericks “Swing for Life” game to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness month.
