MSC volleyball continued its road sweep defeating #18 Metro State 26-24, 25-23, 25-20 Saturday night in Denver. The Mavericks extended their win streak to four and improved their conference road record to 7-0 (7-2 overall – away).
Antoinette McCormick continued her outstanding weekend with a team high 14 kills. In the Mavs three matches McCormick registered 36 kills and a .492 hitting percentage. Alisan Tompkins finished the night with 11 kills and 9 digs.
Tara King had 38 assists and 6 digs. King averaged 11.67 assists and 2.22 digs per game in the three matches. Whitney Howard posted a match high 18 digs, averaging 4.78 digs per game in the weekend road victories.
MSC will host nationally ranked and undefeated in RMAC play, University of Neb-Kearney Friday night at Brownson Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday MSC will host Chadron State at 5 p.m.
