Mesa State volleyball improved to 11-8 overall and 9-1 in league play in a three-set sweep at Colorado Christian. The win marked the Mavs third consecutive 3-0 wins over RMAC opponents. The win improved the Mavs conference road record to 6-0 as they enter Saturday night's match-up versus nationally ranked Metro State.

Friday night MSC defeated the Cougars 25-20, 25-10, 25-18 hitting .250 in the match. MSC totaled 40 kills led by Antoinette McCormick's 10 kills on 18 attempts and just two errors. Gabrielle Lovato finished with 9 kills, 4 digs and 1 block solo.

MSC registered 8 team blocks, 6 service aces, including four aces by Meredith Dolny, and 40 digs. Alisan Tompkins tallied a game high 10 digs.

MSC will return home Friday and Saturday (Oct. 16-17) to host nationally ranked University of Neb.-Kearney and Chadron State respectively.
