Mesa State women's swim team went 3-0 at the St. Leo Invitational in Orlando, Florida, doubling the score over second place Florida Southern. MSC tallied 816 points, followed by Florida Southern's 400 points. Baldwin Wallace finished third with 391 points and host St. Leo placed fourth with 381 points. The Mavericks won 10 of the 14 events.
Sarah Hagerstrom won the 1000 free and 500 free. Megan Takakura won the 200 free and 100 free. Jaclyn McMillen placed first in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Laura Tully won the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Katie Wedel won the 100 and 200 fly and the 200 IM.
MSC's relay teams finished 1-2 in the 200 medley relay. Karoline Fry, Lauren Brock, Gina Panacci and Wedel finished first in a time of 2:00.31. The team of Brittany Robinson, Brittany Linder, Jessica Cort and McMillen were second in a time of 2:08.63.
