Regis' Jessica Howe had a game high 19 kills as the Rangers swept MSC in three sets (22-25, 23-25, 21-25) in RMAC volleyball action Saturday afternoon in Brownson Arena. The loss dropped the Mavs to 8-8 overall and 6-3 in league play. Regis improved to 8-8 overall and 4-4 in conference action.
Jessica Bird and Meagan Bosch finished with nine kills each. Bird, who has been out with a hand injury and back in the lineup for the first time this weekend, hit .333 in the match. Tara King tallied 30 assists, seven digs and three service aces.
MSC will look to get back on track on the road this weekend at Neb.-Kearney (10/10) and Chadron State (10/11). The Mavericks next home date will be October 24 versus Adams State College.
