Daniela Ramirez (F, 5'3, Rupert, ID) scored her seventh goal of the season and Rachelle Ormond (F, So., 5'9, Peoria, AZ) her first as the Mavericks shutout New Mexico Highlands on the road 2-0 Friday afternoon. Both goals came in the second period as the Mavericks out shot the Cowgirls 17-8 in the contest. Vanessa Stone (F, So., 5'2, Gilbert, AZ) was credited with the assist on Ramirez's goal and Ramirez assisted Ormond's goal (header).
                Kaitlin Bennett (Jr., 5'8, Federal Way, WA) recorded seven saves in the shutout.
