Maverick golf team closed out the fall season winning the RMAC #3 golf tournament hosted by Colorado Christian Tuesday afternoon by one stroke over Fort Hays State University. The Mavericks were led by Jennifer Hilts' (Bend, OR) first place finish and Sadie Peavler's (Star Valley, WY) second place, edging out Ft. Hays after trailing the Tigers by one stroke following day one.

Hilts carded a low round 77 on day one and followed that up with an 80 to finish with a two day total 157 and first place individual honors. Peavler bounced back with a low round 75 on day two, erasing 10 strokes for her day one round of 85. Jessica Berve (Farmington, NM) tied for 15^th place (85, 84) with a 169. Afton Balling (Fr., Cody, WY) finished 23^rd overall (90, 84- 174) and Dana Anderson carded a 181 (92, 89) placing 31^st overall.

MSC concludes the fall season and will resume practice the first of the year. The spring season will begin in early March.
