Corinne Cascioppo (Fr., RS, 6'3, Temecula, CA) and Alisan Tompkins (Jr., OH, 5'10, Grand Junction, CO) combined for 31 kills, 11 digs and three blocks in a four set loss at #9-ranked Neb.-Kearney Friday night. Cascioppo and UNK's Jeri Walkowiak had 20 kills each to lead all players. UNK improved to 20-1 overall and 9-0 in league play with a 25-16, 28-26, 24-26, 25-18 victory. The loss dropped the Mavs to 8-9 overall and 6-4 in league action.

MSC recorded 53 kills to the Lopers 56, but committed nine more hitting errors in the four set match. MSC had nine blocks to UNK's seven. Tara King (So., S, 5'9, Steamboat Springs, CO) finished with a game high 49 assists and Ashley Loftsgard (Sr., L, 5'5, Granby, CO) tallied 20 digs.
                The Mavericks will try and snap a three match losing streak Saturday night at Chadron State.
