Mavericks Compete at Cal Baptist Quad Dual Meet

MSC's Levine and Krabacher Place First

MSC's Nicole Levine (Jr., Arvada, CO) and Tanya Krabacher (Sr., Grand Junction, CO) placed first in the 100 freestyle and 300 backstroke respectively, versus Gordon College (Mass.). The Mavericks competed at the Cal Baptist University Quad Dual Meet in Riverside, Calif., Friday afternoon.

The Mavericks fell to Cal Baptist, 202-25, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 210-24 and Gordon College beat MSC, 113-61.

The Quad Dual Meet included the 300-yard individual medley, 300 butterfly, 300 backstroke, 300 breaststroke and freestyle events.

Levine finished in a time of 1:06.85 in the 100 freestyle, beating out Gordon College's Kristen Schaertel and placed fourth against Cal Baptist and fifth against Claremont.

Krabacher recorded a time of 3:48.98 in the 300-yard backstroke, ahead of Gordon College's Alden Sorenson, for first place. That time was good for third place against Cal Baptist and fourth against Claremont.
