Dutch Johnson

Dutch Johnson has served as a an assistant coach with the men's basketball team at Colorado Mesa University since 2014. 

Johnson most recently served as the head boy's basketball coach at Grand Junction High School for 11 seasons with a career record of 165 wins and 68 losses. The Tigers qualified for the state tournament 11 times, including three Sweet 16 appearances.

GJHS won four Southwestern League Championships under his tutelage, and Johnson was named league coach of the year five times. Johnson coached five Southwestern League Players of the Year.

He was a member of the men's basketball team from 1998-2000. He earned First Team All-RMAC honors as a senior and led the Mavericks to the RMAC Championship as a junior. 

Johnson teaches physical education at Grand Junction High School. 

Dutch and his wife Stephanie have a son Drake and daughter Brooklyn.
