Colorado Mesa University Athletics

Shanae Mundee is the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and made the transition to the Colorado Mesa Athletic Department in the Spring of 2023. Prior to her move, she worked in the Department of Student Life since 2019.
 
In addition to her role, she will be the sport supervisor for men’s and women’s golf and cheer.
 
Prior to her time at Colorado Mesa, she worked at Adams State University as an Athletic Trainer and the Associate Athletic Director of Health and Wellness. During her time with the Grizzlies, she worked with the cross country and track and field teams who won five NCAA National Championships during her time.
 
She is an active member of the Colorado Athletic Trainers’ Association and was voted onto Board of Directors as secretary in 2021.
 
A native of South Jordan, Utah, Shanae earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from University of Utah in 2014 and followed up with a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2016.
